The Task
Prof. Ruel T. Bonganciso, our course professor, assigned us to develop a website containing our works, assignments, projects, and other related content. He said that instead of making a traditional portfolio, we only need to create an electronic portfolio through our website, which will help him, and especially us, locate all of our works. The advantage of an electronic portfolio is that it is accessible and can be accessed anytime and anywhere. It will make locating the projects and assignments easier and faster.

MY EXPERIENCES WHILE DEVELOPING THE WEBSITE/ ELECTRONIC PORTFOLIO
It took me countless hours to complete this website. I often felt tired and exhausted because I kept going back to the start since I didn't know how this site worked. I thought that developing a website was an easy task until I started to make one. Honestly, at first, I did not know how to add pictures, videos, and other elements because I had never done this before, even in our CSS NC II class in Senior High School. I really had a hard time exploring all the elements—texts, videos, section and strip backgrounds, pictures, etc. One time, I felt very upset and mad because I kept going back to the start and some of the elements were not functioning well, and also because the internet connection was not cooperating. I took a deep breath and relaxed my mind a little. After quite some time, I finally decided to explore and discover the different functions and uses of elements so that somehow I would be able to familiarize myself with them. Then after that, I started adding a section, changing its background, and creating a layout. The next thing I did was try to insert some pictures and videos until I became familiar with how the site works. Also, I tried to attach links and documents. I did these things over and over again on different pages until I was able to share what I knew and how I developed my website using this site with my classmates. I can say that when developing or creating a website, you really need to invest your time, effort, energy, and expertise because you cannot do this in one sitting. As for me, I sacrificed my sleep so that I could finish this electronic portfolio ahead of time.
Thus, creating a website or electronic portfolio is not as easy as you think; you need to have a lot of patience, persistence, and determination to be able to finish this project. It will not only consume your time and energy, but you also have to be in front of your personal computer or cellphone, which is harmful to your eyes. What I have learned while doing the website is to have patience enough to achieve your goals—in this context, to create a website.

Congrats for making it this far 👏
I agree with you that the process is not that easy in creating one, but you did it! Congratulations Betty!
